How I Walk the Talk:

Nutrition

Nutrition is how I start and end my day.  I focus on a whole foods based paleo diet, that is what works best for me. I have played with multiply diets and forms of cookings over the years.  Being in a kitchen is second nature to me.  I enjoy meal prepping and cooking healthy treats to find balance in my diet.

Fitness

Movement is so important, I am a certified personal trainer and strength & conditioning coach.  Weightlifting and fitness is more than just a hobby it a form of health. Having the ability to move our bodies is a blessing that creates better physical and mental health.  

Grounding

Nature is my hobby.  I spend most of my free time hiking, camping, walking, and soaking up the sunshine with my boyfriend and two dogs.  Taking a time to disconnect from our modern world is essential to my health. Capturing the sounds of nature, searching for wildflowers, and sitting by a fire soothes my soul.

Learning

I have a curious mind and will remain a lifetime learner.  I spend my free time looking into the latest research, listening to podcasts, and reading books including:

Dirty Genes, Sacred Cow, The Salt Fix, Quench, Food Fix, GAPS Protocol, Breaking The Vicious Cycle, Grain Brain
